The Art of Welding

Preface#

Originally just a usual and unremarkable evening DIY project, but after finishing it and taking a closer look, I was really happy, hahaha.

Background#

I have a lot of toys that are magnetically charged. Of course, they all came with their own charging cables at first. Of course, as time passed, the cables disappeared.

Until these past few days, not a single one was left.

Before these days, for a long time, there was only a 10mm one left, relying on the weak interaction force of physics and the literary connection, charging the 5mm little one.

There are many distances between the two magnetic electrodes, with 5mm and 6mm being common in domestic manufacturers; there are also 8mm and 10mm in foreign countries. In China, there are also charging cables with one end without a magnet (this design is actually very bad).

I thought, why not buy one on Taobao, because I know there are universal split ones, two soft cables, usable at any distance, but when I searched, they wanted ten yuan for it? It's better off taking my life.

So, I decided to make one myself.

The process is very simple#

Just find two small cylindrical magnets, cut the head off a 2017 data cable, leave 5cm of red and black power lines, solder them on, and it's done.

Of course, for reliability, it still needs some protection.

So, there you have it.

Really, this heat shrink tube, I just randomly took a small piece, cut it in half, one for each. Up to this point, I just thought it had a sense of beauty for no reason, and nothing unusual.

Oh my goodness, isn't this color just perfect! I remember the original one was red, right? Even though it had a light, the color definitely doesn't match the harmony of mine, hahaha.
